The Light of Stars transformed the historic Bath Abbey into a luminous wonderland. This enchanting installation features handcrafted paper stars, harmonising with the Abbey’s 17th-century stained-glass windows. At its core is the dazzling Advent Star, a beacon of hope symbolising unity and peace. Illuminating the Abbey’s nativity scene, it invites visitors to experience a celebration of togetherness under one glowing canopy.
Paper Starlights has been a cherished feature of the Bath Christmas Market for over 20 years. The Light of Stars deepens this legacy, showcasing the company’s enduring bond with the city and its community. This remarkable installation underscores their dedication to spreading light and joy during the festive season.
Created by the Bath Business Improvement District (BID) in partnership with Bath Carnival, the second edition of Bath Lights the Night took place at Bath Abbey, with The Light of Stars as its focal point. The event embraced the theme "Under the Same Stars."
Inside the Abbey, a vibrant concert showcased local musicians performing beneath the newly installed Light of Stars. To support the parade, Paper Starlights donated paper star lanterns for those who hadn't had the chance to create their own in the workshops.
